Das Trinnov 3D-Messmikrofon ist das Ergebnis umfangreicher Forschungen von Trinnov-Ingenieuren in 3D-Sound. Jede der 4 omnidirektionalen Mikrofone befindet sich in gleichem Abstand zu den anderen und bildet eine Piramide. Das ist die Grundlage um jeden Lautsprecher sowohl auf der horizontalen Ebene als auch auf der vertikalen Ebene sehr genau zu lokalisieren.
